The ergonomic red handle provides a slip-resistant surface for controlled force application during plumbing and maintenance operations.

Advantages

These pliers offer precise adjustment and stable jaw engagement across a range of diameters, enabling reliable torque transfer without frequent readjustment. The tool’s compact length and balanced weight make it easy to operate in confined spaces while maintaining comfortable handling. Hard-wearing jaw surfaces ensure long service life under regular workshop or on-site conditions.

Suitable for

• Holding and adjusting fittings during plumbing installations
• General maintenance and repair tasks requiring secure clamping
• Work in tight spaces where compact pliers are required

Key specifications

• Maximum gripping diameter: 6 cm
• Type: tongue-and-groove (slip-joint) pliers
• Handle finish: red, non-slip grip surface
• Weight: 410 g
• Adjustable jaw positions for multiple grip widths

How to use

Select the jaw position that matches the diameter of the pipe or fitting, close the pliers until the jaws engage the workpiece, and apply steady pressure to turn or hold it. Reposition the pliers if needed by opening the handles and sliding the lower jaw to the next groove setting. Use controlled, even force to avoid damage to plated surfaces or soft materials; for delicate finishes, protect the surface with tape or a soft jaw cover before clamping.

Recommendations

Inspect the pliers before each use for wear or damage, especially on the jaw surfaces and pivot. Use appropriate personal protective equipment when working on pressurized systems and avoid using the pliers as a hammer or pry bar. Clean and lightly lubricate the pivot periodically to maintain smooth adjustment and prevent corrosion.
