WEDO schaar model 73 6003 — kantoor-/knutselschaar met rechte snede, enkel mes, 130 mm, zwart/wit

WEDO scissors model 73 6003 is a straight-cut stationery and craft scissor designed primarily for children and general paper cutting. With a single-blade construction and a 130 mm overall length, these scissors feature stainless-steel blades and ergonomically shaped black-and-white handles intended for right-handed users. The design balances safety and cutting performance for classroom activities, art and craft projects, and everyday paper trimming.

Advantages

The single-blade, straight-cut design provides a simple and predictable cutting line for paper and lightweight craft materials. Stainless-steel blades resist corrosion and maintain a consistent edge for routine classroom use. The compact 130 mm length and rounded tips are appropriate for smaller hands and contribute to safer handling during supervised activities. The black-and-white handles give a neutral appearance that fits into diverse school and home settings.

Suitable for

• School classroom activities and lessons involving paper cutting
• Children’s art and craft projects using paper, card, and light craft materials
• Everyday household paper trimming and small office tasks for right-handed users
• Supervised use by younger children due to compact size and rounded tips

When it may not be suitable

These scissors are not intended for heavy-duty cutting tasks such as thick cardboard, fabric, plastic, or wiring. The single-blade, short-length design is optimized for lightweight materials and children's use; for professional or industrial cutting needs, a larger, double-blade or heavy-duty scissor would be more appropriate.

Recommendations

Use the WEDO 73 6003 scissors for routine paper cutting in classrooms, craft sessions, and small household tasks. Supervise younger children during use, avoid cutting materials thicker than standard paper or thin card, and store the scissors safely after each use to maintain blade condition and prevent accidental access.
