Weefband TESA 4964 50 m wit voor binnen 38 mm

TESA 4964 is a white fabric tape designed for indoor use, supplied on a 50 m roll with a working width of 38 mm. The tape combines cloth backing with a pressure-sensitive adhesive to provide reliable hold for fastening, bundling and temporary fixing tasks. It offers 6% elongation at break and a service temperature up to 110 °C, making it suitable for many everyday indoor applications where moderate stretch and heat resistance are required.

Advantages

The cloth construction of this fabric tape ensures flexibility and conformability to uneven surfaces while maintaining dimensional stability under normal handling. Its pressure-sensitive adhesive provides consistent tack and adhesion on a variety of common indoor substrates such as paper, cardboard, painted surfaces and some plastics. The 6% elongation at break allows slight stretching during application for tight fits, and the temperature resistance up to 110 °C supports short-term exposure to elevated temperatures encountered in indoor environments.

Suitable for

• Fastening light components and assemblies indoors
• Temporary bundling and holding of cables, hoses and textile materials
• Masking or securing during painting and finishing where cloth tape conformity is required
• General-purpose repair and patching of torn fabrics, cardboard and soft materials

Key specifications

• Length: 50 m
• Width: 38 mm
• Color: White
• Backing material: fabric/cloth
• Elongation at break: 6%
• Maximum service temperature: 110 °C
• Adhesive type: pressure-sensitive adhesive

How to use

Ensure the application surface is clean, dry and free from dust, oil or loose particles to achieve optimal adhesion. Cut the required length of tape from the roll and apply with firm pressure to the substrate, smoothing from the center outwards to remove air pockets. For bundling or fastening, wrap the tape tightly and overlap slightly to secure the joint. For short-term exposure to higher temperatures, avoid continuous contact above the stated maximum service temperature.

Recommendations

Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and sources of heat to preserve adhesive performance. For long-term outdoor applications or continuous exposure to high temperatures, choose a tape specifically rated for outdoor use or higher thermal resistance. When using on delicate painted or varnished surfaces, test a small area first to verify compatibility.
