Weefseltape 3M Economy Cloth Tape 1900, 50 mm x 50 m, zwart

3M Economy Cloth Tape 1900 in black is a general-purpose adhesive cloth tape designed for bundling, surface protection, temporary repairs and masking. The tape is 50 mm wide and 50 m long and combines a durable fabric backing with a pressure-sensitive adhesive that conforms to irregular surfaces and resists tearing under normal handling. Its construction provides reliable adhesion to many substrates while remaining easy to tear by hand for quick application in industrial, workshop and home environments.

Advantages

The cloth backing gives the tape good tensile strength and flexibility, allowing it to conform around corners and irregular shapes. The pressure-sensitive adhesive ensures immediate tack and secure hold on a variety of surfaces, while the black color provides visual contrast or discrete coverage depending on the application. The roll format and medium width make it convenient for both manual and semi-automatic use, and the tape can be torn by hand without tools for rapid application.

How to use

Select a clean, dry surface before applying the tape to ensure optimal adhesion. Measure and cut or tear the required length, then press the tape firmly onto the surface, smoothing along its length to remove air pockets and ensure contact. For bundling, wrap the tape around the items with sufficient overlap to secure them. For temporary repairs, cover the damaged area with multiple layers if needed to increase strength. Remove the tape by peeling it back at a steady angle; adhesive residue may occur on some surfaces and can be cleaned with an appropriate solvent if necessary.

Recommendations

Use the tape at moderate temperatures and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or solvents that can affect adhesive performance. Test on an inconspicuous area before applying to delicate or painted surfaces to check for compatibility and potential residue. Store the roll in a cool, dry place to preserve adhesive properties.
