The Wera 05135882001 ratchet wrench in black and green is a single-piece hand tool designed for controlled fastening and loosening of fasteners. It combines a ratcheting mechanism with an ergonomic handle shape to provide accessible torque application in confined spaces and during repetitive work. The tool is intended for a wide range of mechanical, maintenance and assembly tasks where a reliable ratchet action and comfortable grip are required.

Advantages

The ratchet mechanism delivers smooth directional switching for efficient tightening and loosening without removing the tool from the fastener. The handle shape and material are designed to reduce hand fatigue and improve grip stability during extended use. The compact head profile increases access in narrow or recessed areas, while the robust construction supports regular professional or hobby use.

Suitable for

How to use

Select the appropriate fastener engagement on the ratchet head, place the square drive or socket onto the fastener, and set the ratchet direction as required. Apply steady force through the handle while maintaining alignment with the fastener; use short strokes in tight spaces or longer strokes where clearance allows. Reverse the ratchet direction to loosen fasteners. Regularly inspect the tool before use and keep the ratchet mechanism free of heavy debris for reliable operation.

Recommendations

Use compatible sockets sized correctly for the fastener to avoid rounding. Apply controlled torque within the tool’s intended manual limits and avoid using the wrench with cheater bars or impact devices. Store the wrench in a dry environment and perform periodic cleaning and light lubrication of the ratchet mechanism for consistent performance.
