WESTERN DIGITAL harde schijf – WD Purple Surveillance WD43PURZ – 4 TB – SATA 6 Gbit/s – 3,5 inch – 256 MB

The Western Digital Purple WD43PURZ is a 4TB internal hard drive tailored for continuous video surveillance recording. It features a 3.5" form factor, SATA III interface, 5400 RPM spindle speed and a 256MB cache to deliver reliable, surveillance-class storage compatible with a wide range of NVR and DVR systems. The drive is engineered to tolerate constant operation, temperature fluctuations and equipment vibrations typical for security environments, and includes AllFrame™ technology to help reduce frame loss and improve video playback quality.

Advantages

WD Purple drives are optimized for 24/7 operation in surveillance systems, offering endurance under sustained write workloads and resistance to vibration and heat common in multi-drive enclosures. The 256MB buffer and AllFrame™ technology help minimize frame loss and improve playback consistency, while the SATA III interface and standard 3.5" size ensure broad compatibility with NVRs and desktop-style surveillance systems.

Suitable for

• Network video recorders (NVR) and digital video recorders (DVR) used in security systems
• Multi-drive surveillance arrays and RAID configurations
• Continuous, 24/7 recording of high-definition cameras
