Netwerkkabel slank patchcords slank Light STP Cat6 1m grijs

The SLIM Patchcords SLIM Light STP Cat6 1m Grey is a slim, 1-metre networking cable designed for Gigabit Ethernet and Power over Ethernet (PoE). Available in an unshielded round version with a diameter of approximately 2.8 mm and a fully shielded F/FTP (STP) version with a diameter just under 4 mm, this Cat6 cable features gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and a neutral grey jacket for discreet installation in home and office networks.

Advantages

The cable combines a slim form factor with Cat6 performance, allowing high-speed data transfer up to 1000 Mbit/s while occupying less space than standard patchcords. The shielded F/FTP variant reduces electromagnetic interference for improved signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts increase contact reliability and corrosion resistance, and the 1 m length is convenient for short connections between devices in patch panels, switches and workstations.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections (up to 1000 Mbit/s)
• Power over Ethernet (PoE) deployments
• Short patch connections in offices, data cabinets and home networks
• Installations requiring slim or space-saving cabling

Key specifications

• Shielding: F/FTP (STP) or unshielded round version
• Length: 1 m
• Connector: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Diameter: approx. 2.8 mm (unshielded) / just under 4 mm (shielded)
• Color: Grey
• Brand / MPN / EAN: slim wirewin / PKW-LIGHT-STP-K6 1.0 / 9120064016203

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (switch, router or computer) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the destination device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. For shielded (F/FTP) cables, connect both ends to properly grounded shielded ports or grounding points to obtain full EMI protection. Use the 1 m length for short point-to-point connections to avoid excess cable slack.

Recommendations

Choose the shielded (F/FTP) SLIM Light STP version in electrically noisy environments or where better interference protection is required. Use the unshielded round version when minimal cable diameter and maximum flexibility are priorities and shielding is not necessary.
