Patchcord slank patchcords slank STP netwerkkabel blauw 5 m Cat6 S/UTP

The SLIM Patchcords SLIM STP networking cable is a 5 m Cat6 S/UTP patch cable in blue with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It supports Gigabit Ethernet and PoE with data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s. The slim design is suitable for installations where space is limited while maintaining Category 6 performance.

Advantages

Shielding (S/UTP) improves noise immunity and provides better performance compared to unshielded cables. The slim form factor eases routing in narrow ducts and behind equipment. RJ-45 terminations on both ends ensure compatibility with standard network ports and PoE-enabled devices.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections (up to 1000 Mbit/s)
• Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices
• Space-constrained installations, patch panels, and wall outlets

Key specifications

• Length: 5 m
• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/UTP (screened overall, unshielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Color: Blue
• Data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Brand / MPN / EAN: slim wirewin / PKW-STP-SLIM-KAT6 5.0 BL / 9120064013011

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding network ports on your devices or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click. Route the slim patchcord through cable management channels or behind equipment, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension that could damage the cable or connectors. For PoE use, verify that connected equipment supports the required PoE class.

Recommendations

For best shielding performance, install the patchcord within a consistently shielded network using shielded components (shielded switches, patch panels and connectors). Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines to minimize interference.
