Patchkabel slank Tough STP slank 0,5 m Cat6 U/FTP

The SLIM Tough STP SLIM 0.5m Cat6 U/FTP patchcord is a slim, shielded Ethernet cable designed for stable Gigabit data transfer in compact or demanding environments. It combines Cat6 performance with an additional nylon outer coating that increases durability while keeping the cable thin. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and U/FTP shielding reduce signal loss and electromagnetic interference.

Advantages

The nylon coating improves mechanical robustness and makes the cable easier to untangle without significantly increasing diameter. STP (U/FTP) shielding provides better protection against crosstalk and external interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure reliable contact and long-term corrosion resistance. The slim profile supports use in confined spaces and keeps cable management neat.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections (up to 1000 Mbit/s)
• Mobile setups such as notebook bags and temporary "flying" patch connections
• Environments requiring thin, durable cables outside server racks

Key specifications

• Length: 0.5 m
• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: U/FTP (foil shielded pairs, overall drain/ground)
• Connector type: RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Outer coating: nylon-enhanced for increased durability
• Color: grey (nylon coating available in one colour; boot colours vary)

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connectors into the network ports of your devices, ensuring correct orientation before insertion. Use the cable for short patch connections between switches, routers, workstations or for portable setups in bags and temporary installations. Avoid sharp bends beyond the cable's minimum bend radius and do not pull on the connectors to prevent damage.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the SLIM Tough patchcord in Gigabit networks and environments where a combination of slim form factor and enhanced mechanical protection is required. Choose different boot colours to differentiate connections when multiple cables are used.
