Workshop-reiniger IWH kunstleer — voor kunstleer, geschikt voor airbag-oppervlakken

IWH Workshop Cleaner Kunstleder is a specialist cleaning agent formulated for synthetic leather surfaces. It is intended for use on automotive interiors, upholstery and repair workshops where compatibility with airbag-equipped components is essential. The cleaner removes common dirt, grease marks and light stains from artificial leather without affecting texture or color when used as directed.

Advantages

The formulation cleans synthetic leather thoroughly while remaining safe for materials used in seats, door panels and trim. It is designed to be gentle on the surface finish and to avoid swelling or discoloration that can occur with harsher solvents. Because the product is suitable for use close to airbag mounting areas, it supports maintenance and repair work without requiring component removal except where specified by vehicle manufacturer instructions.

How to use

Test the cleaner on an inconspicuous area of the artificial leather to confirm compatibility and colorfastness. Apply a small amount to a clean, soft cloth or sponge and gently rub the surface in a circular motion to lift dirt. Avoid soaking seams or edges; use minimal liquid and repeat if necessary. Wipe away residues with a damp cloth and allow the surface to dry naturally. Follow any additional vehicle manufacturer instructions when working near airbag modules or trim that houses airbags.

Recommendations

Use personal protective equipment such as gloves and eye protection if handling large volumes. Do not spray directly into airbag openings or electrical components. Store the product in a cool, dry place away from sources of ignition and out of reach of children. For persistent stains or delicate materials consult the vehicle manufacturer or a specialist before proceeding.
