Zalman S2 TG computerkast Midi Tower zwart

The Zalman S2 TG Midi Tower in black is a compact PC case designed to house Mini-ITX, Micro ATX and ATX motherboards while providing a balanced combination of airflow and visual appeal. The case comes with two 120mm front fans and one 120mm rear fan preinstalled to promote consistent airflow. The chassis supports both 2.5" and 3.5" drives, features a tempered glass side window and a straightforward front I/O panel with USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A and USB 2.0 connectors. With external dimensions of 196mm (W) x 424mm (D) x 462mm (H) and a lightweight 5 kg construction using steel, tempered glass and plastic, the Zalman S2 TG offers a practical enclosure for mainstream desktop builds.

Advantages

The case delivers a practical balance of cooling and expandability with three preinstalled 120mm fans and support for multiple drive sizes. A tempered glass side panel provides component visibility without sacrificing structural rigidity from the steel frame. Compact Midi Tower dimensions save desk space while retaining room for full-size ATX motherboards and standard-length components. The front I/O layout includes modern USB connectivity for peripherals and fast data transfer.

Suitable for

• Mainstream home or office desktop builds
• Budget gaming systems with emphasis on airflow
• Upgrades where a tempered glass side panel is desired
• Compact ATX or Micro ATX systems where desk space is limited

How to use

Install the motherboard according to its form factor standoffs, then mount the power supply and route cables through available openings to maintain tidy airflow. Fit 3.5" and 2.5" storage drives into their respective mounting points and secure them before connecting to power and data interfaces. Install the graphics card and expansion cards into PCIe slots, ensure the preinstalled fans are connected to appropriate fan headers or a fan controller, and connect front-panel USB ports to the motherboard headers. Close the tempered glass side panel after verifying all internal components are properly seated and cable management is sufficient to avoid obstructing airflow.

Recommendations

To maintain optimal cooling, periodically clean dust from front fan intakes and internal filters, and ensure cable routing does not block airflow paths. When planning a build, verify GPU length and CPU cooler height against available internal clearances. Use the USB 3.2 Gen 1 port for high-speed peripherals and leave space for additional intake or exhaust fans if higher cooling capacity is required.
