Zink-luchtknoopcel Duracell 1,45 V model 397888 (type 10)

Duracell Zinc Air button cell battery delivers a nominal 1.45 V output tailored for hearing aids and other compact, low-drain medical or audio devices. The zinc–air chemistry provides a consistent voltage during use and a high energy density in a small cylindrical package. Single-cell packaging makes it easy to replace worn batteries while maintaining correct polarity and contact in devices designed for button cells.

Advantages

This zinc air cell offers a steady voltage profile suited to devices that demand reliable, continuous power at low current draw. The cell’s compact size and air-activated design enable a long shelf life before activation and extended operating time once exposed to air. The standardized form factor ensures compatibility with many hearing aids and similar miniature instruments, while the durable exterior resists incidental handling during replacement.

How to use

Remove the protective tab or seal to activate the zinc–air cell just before installation, allowing air to reach the cell’s active material and begin power delivery. Observe device-specific polarity markings and insert the battery with correct orientation to ensure proper contact. After installing, wait a short period as the cell stabilizes at nominal voltage; follow the hearing aid or device manufacturer’s instructions for seating and compartment closure. Replace the cell immediately when device performance indicators or recommended life expectancy indicate low charge.

Recommendations

Store unused cells in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Use within the manufacturer’s recommended period after removing the activation tab. Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations for battery recycling or hazardous waste to minimize environmental impact.
