Zonnebril Julbo Explorer 2.0 Alti Arc 4 — bergbeklimmersbril, Julbo Explorer 2.0 Alti Arc 4

Julbo Explorer 2.0 Alti Arc 4 are mountaineering sunglasses engineered for high-altitude and alpine conditions. Designed to provide full-coverage protection, these goggles combine a wraparound frame with high-coverage lenses to shield eyes from intense sunlight, reflected glare from snow and wind-driven particles. The construction and lens performance focus on eye safety and visual comfort during long climbs, glacier travel and exposed mountain routes.

Advantages

The design delivers extensive facial coverage and a secure fit to limit light intrusion and wind exposure. High-coverage lenses with advanced filtering reduce glare and maintain natural colour perception while preserving contrast in bright environments. Robust frame materials and adjustable components ensure durability and adaptability to different helmet types and face shapes. The overall build favours ventilation and condensation control to support extended use in cold or rapidly changing conditions.

How to use

Place the sunglasses over the face ensuring the foam or gasket sits evenly against the skin to create a seal that reduces light and wind entry. Adjust the strap and any flexible frame parts to achieve a secure, comfortable fit compatible with or without a helmet. Use the ventilation openings to promote airflow and reduce condensation; wipe lenses with a soft microfiber cloth to remove moisture or debris. Store the goggles in a protective case when not in use to avoid scratches and preserve coating performance.

Recommendations

Use these mountaineering sunglasses for activities at high altitudes and on snow-covered terrain where glare and UV exposure are strong. Regularly inspect lens surfaces and frame seals for damage before multi-day expeditions, and replace or service components if fit or optical clarity deteriorates.
