• Compatibility: Suitable for induction, gas, electric and ceramic cooktops; oven-safe

How to use

Preheat the casserole gradually on low to medium heat to allow the cast iron to warm evenly. Use moderate amounts of liquid and place the tight-fitting lid to retain steam for braising and slow cooking. When using in the oven, verify that oven temperature recommendations for enameled cast iron are followed and avoid sudden temperature shocks. After cooking, allow the casserole to cool slightly before cleaning; the enamel surface can be washed with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge.

Recommendations

For best results, brown ingredients on the stovetop before adding liquids for braises and stews, then transfer to the oven if required. Avoid using metal utensils that could damage the enamel surface and clean with non-abrasive tools. Store with the lid slightly ajar if long-term storage is planned to prevent moisture buildup.
