3,5 mm mono haakse stekker Voltcraft XL-AC35DG – 3,5 mm mono haakse stekker, zwart

The Voltcraft XL-AC35DG is a 3.5 mm mono right-angle plug in black that provides a compact and reliable TS connection where space is limited. Designed for use with mono audio leads, this right-angle connector allows cables to be routed close to device housings and instrument bodies. The housing is metal for mechanical durability while an insulated tip maintains signal integrity and reduces short risk during installation.

Advantages

The right-angle design minimizes strain on the cable and fits into tight or shallow jack recesses. The mono (TS) contact ensures a clear unbalanced audio path suitable for many instrument and line-level connections. Metal construction improves wear resistance and mechanical stability compared with plastic alternatives, and the black finish provides a discreet appearance that matches many devices and cables.

Suitable for

• Instrument leads for guitars, basses and electronic instruments
• Patch cables and short interconnects near pedals, mixers and amplifiers
• Custom cable assembly and repair of mono audio leads
• Applications where cable routing requires a low-profile right-angle connector

Key specifications

• Connector type: 3.5 mm mono (TS) right-angle plug
• Orientation: 90° (right-angle)
• Body material: metal housing for increased durability
• Colour: black finish
• Contact finish: insulated tip to reduce shorts (insulation around tip/contact)
• Typical use: unbalanced mono audio signals, instrument/line-level connections

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping the outer jacket and isolating the tip conductor and sleeve conductor according to standard audio wiring practice. Slide any required housing parts or strain-relief onto the cable before soldering or crimping the conductors to the connector contacts. After connecting the conductors, assemble the housing and secure any fastening rings or strain relief. Check for correct continuity and absence of shorts before use.

Recommendations

Use this right-angle 3.5 mm mono connector when a low-profile connection is required or when routing cables alongside instrument bodies or device panels. For consistent performance, verify solder joints or crimp connections and avoid excessive bending at the cable exit point; secure the cable with a strain relief or cable tie if the installation will be subject to movement.
