3M 49151225 plakband geschikt voor binnen geschikt voor buiten 25 m transparant

The 3M 49151225 duct tape is a transparent adhesive tape 25 m in length, 12 mm in width and 1.5 mm in thickness designed for general-purpose sealing and fastening. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, this tape delivers reliable adhesion on ceramic, metal and wood surfaces and combines flexibility with tear resistance to handle a range of maintenance, repair and assembly tasks.

Advantages

The tape provides strong initial tack and durable adhesion to multiple substrates while remaining transparent for applications where visibility of the underlying surface is required. Its 1.5 mm thickness gives mechanical strength and resistance to stretching and tearing, and the 25 m roll length reduces the need for frequent replacement. Weather resistance allows use in varying temperature and humidity conditions without quick loss of performance.

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, oil or loose particles before applying the tape. Cut or tear the required length from the roll and press firmly onto the substrate, smoothing out air pockets for maximum contact. For heavier loads or critical joints, apply pressure along the tape edge to promote adhesive flow and consider overlapping layers to increase strength. When removing, pull the tape back slowly at a low angle to minimise residue.

Recommendations

The product is suitable for general-purpose sealing and holding; avoid continuous exposure to extreme temperatures or corrosive chemicals to maintain adhesive performance. For high-load, structural or long-term outdoor applications, test adhesion on a small area first or select a specialised tape designed for those conditions.
