3M GPT-020F19 plakband geschikt voor binnen 50 m polyester transparant

The 3M GPT-020F19 50m Polyester Transparent Duct Tape is a narrow, high-temperature-resistant tape intended for indoor use. Made from durable polyester film with a transparent finish, the tape provides a thin but strong bonding layer suitable for bundling, securing, and temporary fixing applications. With a length of 50 meters and a width of 19 mm, the tape offers extended coverage while maintaining a slim profile for precise application. Its rated temperature resistance up to 190°C allows use in environments where elevated temperatures may be present for short periods.

Advantages

This transparent polyester duct tape combines high temperature resistance and dimensional stability with thin-film flexibility. The polyester backing resists tearing and stretching while the adhesive ensures reliable hold on a variety of clean, dry surfaces. The slim 19 mm width enables accurate placement in tight areas or along edges, and the 50 m roll reduces the need for frequent replacements. Transparency helps preserve visibility of underlying markings and components.

How to use

Surface contact areas should be clean, dry and free from dust, grease or other contaminants for best adhesion. Measure and cut the required length of tape, then press firmly onto the surface to activate the adhesive and remove air pockets. For bundling cables or securing overlays, wrap with moderate tension to avoid deformation of the backing. Avoid prolonged exposure above the rated temperature and store the roll in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Recommendations

For reliable results, test adhesion on a small area prior to use on sensitive surfaces. Do not use the tape as a substitute for permanent heat-resistant materials or structural fastenings. Replace the tape if it shows signs of adhesive failure, discoloration or backing degradation after exposure to heat.
