Omnitronic 30100953 is a 3U rack-mounted drawer with an integrated lock, designed for standard 19" equipment racks. It provides secure, slide-out storage for tools, cables, adapters and small accessories inside server rooms, broadcast studios and AV installations. The drawer’s 3U height preserves valuable rack space while offering a flat, accessible storage compartment that keeps frequently used items within reach without occupying shelf or cabinet surfaces.

Advantages

The integrated lock ensures controlled access to stored items and reduces the risk of unauthorized removal. The drawer slides smoothly on guided rails for full extension and easy retrieval of contents. Its front-panel design matches common 19" rack aesthetics and mounts neatly into a standard rack frame, contributing to a tidy and professional equipment layout. How to use

Install the drawer into an available 3U space in a standard 19" rack by aligning the mounting holes with the rack rails and securing with appropriate rack screws. Slide the unit into position until the front panel rests flush with the rack face. Use the guided rails to open and close the drawer; lock the front panel when secure access control is required. Arrange small items inside the drawer to avoid overloading, and close the drawer before moving the rack or performing maintenance on adjacent equipment.

Recommendations

For best results, store only lightweight to medium-weight items and distribute weight evenly across the drawer. Regularly check the locking mechanism and slide rails for smooth operation and tighten mounting hardware if any looseness appears. Avoid storing liquids or sharp objects that could damage the interior or the sliding mechanism.
