4smarts passieve houder voor laptop, tablet/UMPC en smartphone — model 541806, zilver

The 4smarts 541806 is a passive desk holder designed to support laptops, tablets/UMPCs and mobile phones. Finished in silver, the stand provides a stable platform for placing devices on a desk and is intended for stationary use in office or home workspaces.

Advantages

The passive design requires no power or mechanical adjustment, offering simple, maintenance-free operation. Its compact footprint and 0.55 kg weight make it easy to position on a desk while supplying reliable stability for a range of device sizes. The silver finish gives a neutral, professional appearance that fits common workspace setups.

Suitable for

• Laptops for everyday office or home use
• Tablets and UMPC devices used on a desk
• Mobile phones or smartphones placed beside other devices

When it may not be suitable

This passive desk holder is not suited for active cooling, powered adjustment, or heavy-duty mounting. If you need adjustable angles, motorised tilt, or integrated cooling fans for prolonged heavy workloads, consider an alternative with those features. It is intended for stationary desk use rather than portable mounting in vehicles or on uneven surfaces.

Key specifications

• Compatible device types: Laptop, Tablet/UMPC, Mobile phone/Smartphone
• Type: Passive desk holder (non-powered, non-adjustable)
• Colour: Silver
• Weight: 0.55 kg

How to use

Place the 4smarts passive holder on a stable desk surface and set your laptop, tablet or phone onto the holder so that the device rests securely. Ensure the device is balanced and does not overhang the base. For laptops, align the rubberised contact points (if present) with the device edges to prevent slipping. Use the stand as a stationary support while working, reading, or conducting video calls.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm that your device dimensions and weight are compatible with a passive non-adjustable stand
• Decide if you require adjustable angle, cooling, or powered features not provided by a passive holder
• Check desk space to ensure the stand’s footprint fits your workspace

Recommendations

For stable placement, use the holder on a flat desk and avoid placing heavy objects on top of the supported device. Regularly clean contact surfaces to maintain grip and check that the device sits securely before use.
