Aansluitdoos ShiverPeaks 74241-1 met maximale connectiviteit voor 2 telefoonlijnen

The ShiverPeaks Connection Box 74241-1 is a compact termination and distribution unit designed for handling up to two public analog PSTN lines (Amtsleitungen). Intended for flush-mounted installation, the unit provides a tidy and secure interface between incoming telephone lines and internal building wiring. The connection box supports organized cabling and straightforward line allocation in small offices, apartments, or basic telecom installations where simple PSTN connectivity and reliable physical termination are required.

Advantages

This connection box offers a space-saving flush-mounted design that simplifies mounting inside walls or distribution cabinets. It supports two separate PSTN lines and provides clear, accessible terminals for efficient line termination and routing. The product is built to ensure consistent electrical contact and to reduce the risk of loose or faulty connections, helping to maintain stable voice and low-speed data service over analog lines.

Suitable for

• Small office telephone installations requiring two PSTN lines
• Residential apartments with one or two analog telephone services
• Telecom closets or distribution points for basic analogue line termination
• Retrofit projects where organized, flush-mounted line termination is needed

Key specifications

• Mounting type: flush-mounted (underplaster) installation
• Maximum line capacity: two public analog PSTN (Amtsleitungen) lines
• Terminal configuration: dual 8/8 to 8/8 connectivity for line distribution
• Enclosure: designed for installation without an external cover included
• Application: termination and distribution of incoming telephone lines to internal wiring

How to use

Install the connection box into a prepared flush-mounted cavity following local electrical and building codes. Route the incoming PSTN cables to the designated terminal positions and secure conductors to the corresponding 8/8 terminals. Connect internal building wiring to the distribution terminals to complete the circuit to telephone outlets or equipment. Verify correct line routing and secure all screws to ensure stable contact. If a separate protective cover or faceplate is required, fit the appropriate accessory after wiring is complete.

Recommendations

Perform installation and wiring by qualified personnel. De-energize line voltages where applicable before making connections. Use standardized wiring color codes and test each line after termination to confirm continuity and correct service. For installations requiring additional mechanical protection or aesthetic finishing, install a compatible cover or faceplate suitable for flush-mounted units.
