ABUS AZBW10110 bewegingsmelder passieve infrarood PIR-sensor bedraad wand wit

The ABUS AZBW10110 is a wired passive infrared (PIR) motion detector for indoor wall mounting. EN Grade 2 certified, it monitors indoor spaces by detecting human heat movement within its field and sending alarm events to the control panel. Designed for low power consumption and compact installation, the detector provides reliable coverage with a spherical lens and integrated anti-creep protection for reduced blind spots.

Advantages

This wired PIR motion detector offers up to 16 × 16 m detection range (depending on mounting height), an approximately 90° viewing angle and an improved, more uniform coverage thanks to a new spherical lens design. It supports an optional pet‑immunity function with three adjustable levels to reduce false alarms from animals up to 15 kg. The detector is EN Grade 2 certified and features low power consumption and integrated anti‑creep protection to detect movement directly underneath the unit.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Indoor wall-mounted intrusion detection in homes and small businesses
• Integration with wired alarm control panels
• Areas requiring pet‑tolerant motion detection (pets up to 15 kg)
• Hallways, living rooms, offices and storage rooms

Key specifications

• Brand: ABUS
• Model / MPN: AZBW10110
• EAN: 4043158191486
• Type: Wired passive infrared (PIR) motion detector
• Detection range: up to 16 × 16 m (depending on mounting height)
• Viewing angle: approx. 90°
• Mounting height: recommended 1.80–2.40 m above floor
• Pet immunity: optional, 3 adjustable sensitivity levels (pets up to 15 kg)
• Certification: EN Grade 2

How to use

Mount the detector on an interior wall, preferably in a corner at 1.80–2.40 m height with the expected intruder path crossing the detection field. Connect the device to the wired alarm control panel and configure the pet‑immunity level if pets are present. After installation, verify coverage by walking across the protected area at typical intruder heights and adjust orientation or mounting position if needed.

Recommendations

Position the detector to monitor across movement paths rather than directly towards entrances; avoid mounting near heating sources or air vents. If small or very active pets are present, test the selected pet‑immunity level and, if necessary, raise the mounting height or adjust sensitivity to minimise false alarms.
