Suitable for

• Replacing a lost or damaged Lenovo laptop power adapter
• Keeping a spare adapter at home, office or in luggage for travel
• Charging the laptop battery and providing continuous power during extended use
• Maintaining system availability during presentations, meetings or remote work

Key specifications

• Output power: 90 W
• Output voltage and current: manufacturer-specified DC output matched to compatible Lenovo laptops
• Connector type: Lenovo-compatible DC plug (manufacturer connector)
• Input voltage: compatible with standard AC mains (region-dependent when used with suitable mains lead)
• Protection: built-in overcurrent, overvoltage and short-circuit protection
• Form factor: external brick-style adapter with attached DC cable

How to use

Connect the adapter to the AC mains using a compatible mains lead, then insert the DC plug into the laptop power inlet until it seats securely. Verify that the laptop indicates charging or external power is connected. When disconnecting, first remove the DC plug from the laptop and then unplug the mains lead. Use the adapter on a flat, stable surface to allow airflow around the brick and avoid covering the adapter while in use. If the adapter becomes warm during extended use, allow it to cool before storing.

Recommendations

Use only the appropriate mains lead for your region and check the laptop’s power requirements before use. Avoid exposing the adapter to liquids, extreme temperatures or heavy mechanical stress. For long-term storage disconnect from mains and store in a dry environment. If any fault is observed (burning smell, excessive heat, visible damage), discontinue use immediately and replace the adapter.
