Access Hub beveiligings-deurcontroller Ubiquiti UA-Hub

UniFi Access Hub is an intelligent IP-networked single-door controller that integrates with the UniFi Access solution. The Access Hub supports common electric strike and bolt types, magnetic locks, and 12 V access accessories such as motion sensors, push buttons, and alarms. It provides three PoE-powered Ethernet reader interfaces and a PoE port suitable for connecting a UniFi G3-Flex camera for added monitoring. The device is managed with UniFi Access Controller software to administer users, visitors, schedules, and access policies via a browser-based interface.

Advantages

The Ubiquiti UA-Hub supports gigabit Ethernet (1000 Mbit/s) and wide DC input (12–30 V), reducing compatibility issues with existing power systems. Its three PoE reader interfaces lower wiring complexity and allow powering of readers and a surveillance camera from the controller. Compact dimensions (190 × 126 × 33 mm) simplify installation in equipment cabinets or behind panels. Integration with UniFi Access Controller centralizes user and policy management.

Suitable for

• Single-door access control in offices and small commercial sites
• Integration with surveillance for combined access and monitoring
• Retrofitting existing doors with electric strikes, bolts, or magnetic locks
• Deployments requiring PoE-powered readers and accessories

Configure the unit from the UniFi Access Controller web interface to create users, visitor accounts, schedules, and access policies. Test lock operation and reader responses after configuration.

Recommendations

Use compatible electric strikes, bolts, and magnetic locks rated for the supplied voltage. Place the UniFi G3-Flex camera on the PoE camera port for combined access and visual verification. Ensure network and controller software are kept up to date and perform a functional test after installation to confirm access policies operate as intended.
