The Bosch AdvancedImpact 18 cordless impact drill combines an 18V motor with two 1.5Ah lithium‑ion batteries to deliver sustained power for drilling and screwdriving tasks. Designed for general purpose work, the tool balances torque and speed for effective performance in wood, metal and masonry. The kit is supplied with a robust carrying case for transport and storage and the battery platform is compatible with the POWER FOR ALL ALLIANCE, allowing the batteries to be used with other tools in the same system.

Advantages

This cordless impact drill provides high torque and variable speed control enabling precise screwdriving and fast drilling. The included 1.5Ah Li‑ion batteries offer reduced self‑discharge and quick recharge cycles, supporting continuous work with a spare battery available. The compact design improves handling in confined spaces while the durable case protects the tool and accessories during transport. Compatibility with the POWER FOR ALL ALLIANCE increases flexibility by allowing battery interchangeability across supported tools.

How to use

Fit a charged 18V battery into the tool until it clicks into place and select the appropriate torque and speed setting for the material and fastener. Secure the required drill bit or screwdriver bit into the chuck and tighten it. For drilling, start at a low speed to position the bit, then increase speed as needed. For screwdriving, use the clutch settings to avoid over‑driving screws. Swap batteries as required to maintain continuous operation and store the tool and batteries in the supplied case when not in use.

Recommendations

Use sharp, quality drill bits and the correct bit size for each material to maximise efficiency and minimise wear. For prolonged tasks, rotate between the two supplied batteries to avoid downtime. Observe safety instructions for protective eyewear and hearing protection when working with high speeds or hard materials.
