ACER desktopmonitor - CB342CU - 34 inch - 3440 x 1440 WQHD - IPS 1ms

The Acer CB342CU 34" UltraWide Quad HD LCD delivers a 3440 x 1440 resolution on a 21:9 IPS panel designed for wide-format workflows and immersive viewing. The flat screen combines 1 ms response time with 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles to maintain image clarity from off-center positions. Built-in stereo speakers, height adjustment and VESA mounting support practical installation options for desktop or mounted setups. The monitor is available in a two-tone black and silver finish and offers a single USB Type-C downstream port for connectivity.

Advantages

The UltraWide Quad HD resolution provides extended horizontal workspace for multitasking, video editing and widescreen content playback. IPS panel technology ensures consistent color and contrast across wide viewing angles, while a 1 ms response time reduces motion blur during fast-moving scenes. Built-in speakers eliminate the need for external audio devices for basic sound, and the monitor's ergonomic height adjustment plus VESA compatibility simplify positioning and mounting in varied work environments.

Suitable for

• Office multitasking and productivity with multiple side-by-side windows
• Content creation workflows that benefit from wide timelines and palettes
• Watching widescreen video and cinematic content
• General-purpose home and small-office setups where integrated audio is sufficient
• Mounted installations using standard VESA arms or wall mounts

How to use

Place the monitor on a stable desk surface or attach it to a VESA-compatible arm or wall mount. Connect the video source using the appropriate cables and the USB Type-C downstream port if required for peripherals; ensure the source device supports the monitor's resolution and refresh capabilities. Adjust the display height for ergonomic eye level and use your operating system's display settings to select the 3440 x 1440 resolution and preferred color profile. Use the built-in on-screen menu to fine-tune brightness, contrast and picture modes for the desired viewing conditions.

Recommendations

For sustained eye comfort, set the display brightness to match ambient lighting and enable any available low-blue-light or flicker-reduction modes when working long hours. When mounting the monitor, verify the VESA pattern and load capacity of your arm or bracket. If higher-fidelity audio is needed, use external speakers or headphones rather than the built-in speakers. Regularly update connected device drivers and graphics settings to maintain optimal performance at the native UltraWide Quad HD resolution.
