ACT Geel 3 meter LSZH U/UTP CAT6A patchkabel met RJ45-aansluitingen

The ACT Yellow 3 meter LSZH U/UTP CAT6A patch cable (model IB1903) provides a 3 m connection with RJ-45 connectors for high-speed data transmission. Its U/UTP construction reduces electromagnetic interference, while the LSZH outer jacket lowers the risk of toxic smoke and halogen release in poorly ventilated environments. The cable complies with CPR Euroclass Eca and is suitable for home and office network connections where enhanced CAT6A performance is required.

Advantages

LSZH jacket reduces the emission of toxic and corrosive gases in case of fire or short circuit, improving safety in confined or poorly ventilated spaces. The U/UTP CAT6A design supports higher bandwidths and improved signal integrity compared with lower-category cables. Standard RJ-45 connectors offer wide compatibility with networking equipment, and the 3 m length provides flexibility in device placement. The cable is less flexible than PVC-jacketed types but offers improved safety characteristics.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches and routers in home or office networks
• Network runs in confined or poorly ventilated areas (e.g., inside vehicles or equipment racks)
• CAT6A applications requiring reduced interference and higher data rates

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your source device (computer, switch, router) and the other connector into the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a stable connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain; secure with cable ties or organizers as needed. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-power electrical lines to reduce possible interference.

Recommendations

Use this LSZH CAT6A patch cable in indoor or enclosed installations where reduced smoke and halogen emission are desirable. Do not expose the cable to temperatures or mechanical stress outside manufacturer guidelines; replace if the jacket or connectors are damaged.
