How to use

Route the slimline CAT6A U/FTP patch cable between network devices such as switches, servers and patch panels. Insert RJ45 connectors firmly into the corresponding ports until the latch clicks. Avoid sharp bends tighter than the cable bend radius and do not strain the connectors. Recommendations

The manufacturer notes that although standards typically specify 22–26 AWG for patch cords, slimline designs can use thinner conductor gauges (e.g. 32 AWG), which increases attenuation at higher frequencies. For Power over Ethernet (PoE) use, ACT advises a maximum bundle size of 24 cables to limit temperature rise; ANSI TSB-184-A recommends the center cable temperature increase remain under 15 °C above ambient.
