ACT oranje, 3 m, LSZH U/UTP CAT6 datacenter slimline patchkabel met trekontlasting en RJ45-stekkers

ACT Orange 3 meter LSZH U/UTP CAT6 datacenter slimline patch cable with snagless RJ45 connectors is a slim-diameter network cable designed for data center and rack installations. At 3.8 mm diameter it is smaller than regular CAT6 patch cords, improving cable routing and airflow in server racks and network cabinets. The cable uses U/UTP construction and gold-plated RJ45 contacts, and comes in a 3 m length with LSZH jacket and orange jacket colour for easy identification.

Advantages

The slimline CAT6 design reduces cable bulk and allows a tighter bending radius compared with standard CAT6 patch cords, which helps maintain better airflow in dense rack environments. Snagless RJ45 connectors protect the latch during installation. U/UTP construction provides balanced performance while the gold-plated contacts ensure reliable conductivity and corrosion resistance. The LSZH jacket limits smoke and hazardous gases in the event of a fire.

Suitable for

• Data center patching and rack-to-rack connections
• Network cabinet and server cabinet installations with limited space
• General Cat6 Ethernet connections requiring 3 m length
• Environments where low-smoke, zero-halogen (LSZH) cable jackets are preferred

Key specifications

How to use

Route the ACT slimline CAT6 patch cable between network devices or patch panels, ensuring connectors are fully inserted into RJ45 ports until the latch clicks. Use the snagless boot when pulling the cable through tight spaces to protect the latch. Maintain appropriate bend radius where possible; although the cable tolerates a tighter bend than standard cords, avoid sharp kinks. For PoE deployments, follow bundle size guidance to limit temperature rise.

Recommendations

Use up to 24 cables in a bundled PoE installation as advised to prevent excessive temperature rise; 28 AWG versions may increase attenuation at higher frequencies, so verify link performance where marginal margins exist.
