ACT rood 3 meter U/UTP CAT6-patchkabel snagless met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Red 3 meter U/UTP CAT6 patch cable with RJ45 connectors is a networking cable designed for reliable gigabit connections in home and office environments. The cable is 3 meters long and uses CAT6 twisted-pair construction with U/UTP shielding to reduce external interference. Snagless RJ45 connectors and gold-plated contacts provide stable connections and corrosion resistance for consistent data transmission.

Advantages

The cable delivers high-speed data transfer suitable for Ethernet networks up to gigabit performance, while its U/UTP construction helps minimise electromagnetic interference in typical residential and commercial installations. Snagless RJ45 plugs protect the connector clip during installation and removal, and gold-plated contacts ensure a low-resistance electrical interface for improved signal integrity. A coloured outer jacket allows quick visual identification in cable bundles.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches and routers within local networks
• Patch panel to network device connections in small offices
• Home network wiring for media streaming and online gaming
• Temporary or fixed cabling in wiring closets and server rooms where 3 m reach is sufficient

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT6 U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with overall U/UTP construction)
• Length: 3 m
• Connector type: RJ45 to RJ45, snagless design
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: red outer jacket
• Intended use: Ethernet networking, data transmission up to gigabit speeds

How to use

Insert each RJ45 connector firmly into the corresponding network port until the clip engages. Use the cable to link network devices such as computers, routers, switches or patch panels. Avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and maintain reasonable bend radii to preserve signal performance. For installations in cable bundles or racks, label the red cable as needed for identification and route it to prevent mechanical strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the patch cable in environments matching CAT6 specifications and avoid running it in parallel with high-voltage power lines. Inspect connectors periodically for damage and replace the cable if the outer jacket or connector housing is compromised.
