ACT zwart 7 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A patchkabel met RJ45-stekkers

The ACT Black 7 meter LSZH SFTP CAT6A patch cable provides high-speed network connectivity with enhanced shielding and safety features. It uses S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil‑shielded pairs) shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and supports the performance characteristics of Category 6A connections. The jacket is made of LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) material, which limits smoke and toxic gas emissions in case of fire and is suitable for use in confined or poorly ventilated spaces.

Advantages

The cable delivers improved signal integrity thanks to S/FTP shielding and is built to support high data rates typical for Cat6A. RJ‑45 connectors on both ends ensure compatibility with standard network equipment. The LSZH jacket enhances safety in environments where reduced smoke and halogen emissions are required, such as transport and enclosed installations.

Suitable for

• Data centers and server racks
• Office LAN connections between switches, patch panels and devices
• Enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces such as vehicles, trains or aircraft interiors
• Environments where low smoke and zero halogen materials are preferred for safety compliance

When it may not be suitable

The LSZH jacket is generally less flexible than PVC-sheathed cables, which may make routing in tight bends or dense cable runs more difficult. If extreme flexibility for frequent movement or very tight bend radii is required, a different cable construction may be preferable.

Key specifications

• Length: 7 meters
• Cable category: Cat6A
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ‑45 on both ends
• Jacket material: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)

How to use

Connect one RJ‑45 end to a switch, patch panel or network device and the other end to the corresponding port on your computer, server or network appliance. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling; maintain recommended bend radius for Cat6A cable to preserve signal performance.

What to consider before purchase

• Required cable length and routing path to avoid excess slack or tension
• Compatibility with Cat6A performance requirements of your network equipment
• Installation environment—choose LSZH for enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces
• Need for flexibility if cables will be frequently moved or bent tightly

Recommendations

For best performance, use this ACT Cat6A S/FTP LSZH patch cable in fixed installations such as patch panels and rack-mounted equipment, keep cable runs within recommended length limits for Ethernet applications, and avoid tight bends or kinks to maintain signal integrity.
