ACTIDATA actiTape LTO Ultrium 9 datacartridge 18 TB native / 45 TB gecomprimeerd

The ACTIDATA actiTape LTO Ultrium Media Gen 9 is a high-performance, ninth-generation magnetic tape cartridge designed for reliable, long-term data storage and backup. With a native capacity of 18 TB and compressed capacity of 45 TB (2.5:1 compression), it meets the demands of modern data centers and enterprise environments. The cartridge utilizes advanced Barium Ferrite (BaFe) technology for enhanced stability and archival life exceeding 30 years.

Advantages

This LTO-9 tape delivers exceptional data transfer rates of up to 400 MB/s native and 1000 MB/s compressed, significantly reducing backup windows. It supports drive-level AES 256-bit encryption and WORM (Write Once Read Many) capability, ensuring data security and compliance. The 8960-track format and low bit error rate (1 x 10^19 bits read) guarantee data integrity. Backward compatible with LTO-8 drives (read/write) and LTO-7 drives (read only), it offers flexible integration into existing infrastructures.

Suitable for

• Enterprise data backup and archiving
• Disaster recovery and business continuity
• Long-term data retention (30+ years)
