Actieve optische kabel DELOCK USB-C naar DisplayPort 20 m, model 81607

Active Optical Cable DELOCK USB-C to DisplayPort 20 m, model 81607 is a fiber-optic video cable that transmits DisplayPort signals from a USB-C source supporting DisplayPort Alt Mode to a DisplayPort display over long distances. The cable is designed to provide reliable high-bandwidth signal transmission with low attenuation and resistance to electromagnetic interference, allowing source devices such as laptops, desktops or media players to connect to monitors, projectors or large-format displays located up to 20 meters away.

Advantages

The active optical design ensures stable transmission of high-resolution video and audio over long runs while maintaining signal integrity and reducing the effects of electromagnetic noise. Lightweight fiber construction and integrated active electronics minimize signal loss and allow compact connector housings. The cable supports single-cable video connectivity from USB-C hosts with DisplayPort Alt Mode to standard DisplayPort inputs without external power or adapters in typical setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops with USB-C (DisplayPort Alt Mode) to remote monitors or projectors
• Digital signage installations and video walls requiring long cable runs
• Conference rooms and lecture halls where a stable long-distance video link is needed
• Control centres and broadcast environments with electromagnetic interference concerns

Key specifications

• Connector A: USB-C (supports DisplayPort Alt Mode)
• Connector B: DisplayPort (standard Type connector)
• Cable type: active optical fiber
• Length: 20 m
• Signal: DisplayPort video and audio transmission over fiber
• Immunity: resistant to electromagnetic interference due to optical transmission

How to use

Connect the USB-C end to a source device that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode, and plug the DisplayPort end into the target display. Ensure both devices are powered on and set display input to the DisplayPort source. The cable's active electronics will convert and transmit the signal over the fiber core; no additional adapters are normally required. For best results, route the cable to avoid sharp bends near the connectors and make secure, firm connections at both ends.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, avoid tight bends and crushing forces on the cable, keep connectors free from dust, and use the specified 20 m length without additional passive extenders. If target display or source device requires alternate modes or special driver support, verify device compatibility before installation.
