Actieve optische kabel DELOCK USB-C naar DisplayPort 25,00 m (model 81608)

The Active Optical Cable DELOCK USB-C to DisplayPort 25.00 m (model 81608) converts a USB-C video output to DisplayPort over a 25.00 metre optical link. The cable is designed to support long-distance transmission of video signals with reduced signal loss and immunity to electromagnetic interference, providing a stable connection between compatible USB-C devices and DisplayPort-equipped monitors, projectors or large displays. Its single-ended USB-C to DisplayPort configuration allows direct connection without additional adapters when the source device supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB-C.

Advantages

The optical construction minimises attenuation and preserves image quality across the full 25 m length while offering resistance to EMI and crosstalk common in copper cables. The cable supports slender routing and flexible installation in conference rooms, classrooms or digital signage setups due to its lightweight optical core. The plug-and-play design requires no external power or converters when used with compatible devices that provide DisplayPort Alt Mode over USB-C.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops or tablets with USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode to external monitors or projectors
• Long-distance AV installations in conference rooms and lecture halls
• Digital signage and retail displays requiring stable video over extended runs
• Environments with high electromagnetic interference where copper cabling degrades signal

Key specifications

• Cable type: active optical cable (AOC) with USB-C to DisplayPort interface
• Length: 25.00 metres
• Connector A: USB-C (source side supporting DisplayPort Alternate Mode)
• Connector B: DisplayPort (display side)
• Signal medium: optical fibre core for video transmission
• Immunity: reduced susceptibility to electromagnetic interference compared with copper cables
• Application: video transmission for displays, projectors and signage

How to use

Connect the USB-C end to a compatible source device that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode over USB-C. Plug the DisplayPort connector into the monitor, projector or display input. Ensure both devices are powered and set the display input to the appropriate DisplayPort channel. No external power or additional converters are required for typical setups where the source device provides the necessary video output over the USB-C port. For best results, avoid sharp bends near the connectors and secure cable runs to prevent physical stress.

Recommendations

Verify that the source device supports DisplayPort Alt Mode via USB-C before use. Route the optical cable avoiding tight bends and high-stress points; follow minimum bend radius guidelines provided by the manufacturer. For installations in high-EMI environments or over long distances, use this active optical cable to maintain signal integrity. If you experience display issues, check cable seating, source output settings and display input selection.
