Actieve USB 3.2 verlengkabel Kindermann 5773000311, 10 m, A-stekker naar A-bus

The USB 3.2 extension cable Kindermann 5773000311 is an active A male to A female USB extension with a 10 m length designed to extend standard USB connections while preserving USB 3.2 data transfer capability over a longer distance. This cable enables users to position USB devices further from a host computer or hub without relying on passive cable runs that can degrade signal integrity. The active design includes signal amplification to maintain reliable communication between host and peripheral across the full 10 m span.

Advantages

The active construction supports consistent USB 3.2 performance over 10 meters, reducing data errors and connection dropouts that can occur with long passive cables. The A male to A female connector configuration allows straightforward extension of existing USB A-to-A cables or direct connection of USB A peripherals. By maintaining standard USB connector types, the cable is compatible with a wide range of computers, hubs and USB devices that use USB A interfaces.

Key specifications

How to use

Connect the USB A male end of the Kindermann 5773000311 to a USB A port on the host computer, hub or upstream cable. Plug the USB A male connector of the device or existing USB A cable into the A female port of the extension. Ensure connections are fully seated. The active electronics are self-contained in the cable assembly and do not require separate power unless the connected device draws power beyond the host port capability; in such cases use a powered USB hub or externally powered device to ensure stable operation.

Recommendations

For reliable USB 3.2 throughput, avoid routing the cable alongside high-voltage power lines and keep connectors free of dust. If device power requirements exceed the host port, use a powered USB hub or connect devices to a dedicated power source. Verify device function at the intended location before final installation to confirm signal and power adequacy.
