Adapter gender changer HDMI HDMI C zwart ShiverPeaks BS77412-1

The ShiverPeaks BS77412-1 is an HDMI to HDMI C gender changer designed to adapt cable end types without altering signal quality. Its black housing and compact form factor allow it to fit into crowded AV setups and behind equipment racks while maintaining a discreet appearance. Gold-plated contacts are used at the connector interfaces to support stable signal transfer and resist corrosion over extended use.

Advantages

This gender changer provides a simple mechanical conversion between HDMI connector types while preserving digital audio and video integrity. The gold-plated connector contacts improve electrical conductivity and reduce the risk of signal loss or intermittent connections. Its compact, lightweight construction makes it easy to install and reposition, and the neutral black finish ensures visual compatibility with most consumer and professional AV equipment.

Suitable for

• Adapting an HDMI cable to an HDMI C port on monitors, laptops or cameras
• Reconfiguring AV setups in home theater systems
• Connecting projectors or presentation equipment with differing HDMI connector types
• Temporary or permanent cable routing where direct replacement of a cable is impractical

Key specifications

• Interface: HDMI to HDMI C gender conversion
• Connector contacts: gold-plated for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• Color: black
• Form factor: compact inline adapter suitable for tight spaces
• Signal type: digital audio and video compatible with standard HDMI signals

How to use

Insert the standard HDMI plug of the cable into the corresponding HDMI side of the gender changer and then connect the HDMI C end to the device’s HDMI C port, or vice versa depending on the cable orientation. Ensure both device ports are free of dust and debris before connection. After connecting, power on the devices and verify that audio and video signals are transmitted correctly. If needed, reseat the connector to ensure a firm mechanical contact.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, avoid excessive bending or strain at the connection points and route cables to minimize mechanical stress. If using in a permanent installation, periodically check contacts for dust and clean gently with compressed air or a soft brush as required.
