Connect a USB Type-C cable from the adapter’s USB-C female port to the USB-C (DP Alt Mode) input on the monitor or display. Ensure the display input is set to the correct USB-C/DisplayPort source. Use compatible cables and verify that both source and display support the desired resolution and HDR if required.

Recommendations

For best performance, use high-quality HDMI and USB-C cables rated for the desired resolution (for example, HDMI 2.1 and a USB-C cable supporting DisplayPort Alt Mode). Confirm both source and monitor support HDR and the target resolution (8K) before attempting high-resolution output.
