Adapter ShiverPeaks 85397-SET5 — rubberen huls voor F-stekkers (adapterset)

ShiverPeaks 85397-SET5 adapter set contains rubber sleeves (Gummitülle) designed for use with F-connectors on coaxial cables. These sleeves slip over the F-type connector interface to provide a protective layer against mechanical wear, moisture ingress at the connector junction and to improve the durability of RF cable terminations. The set format supplies multiple sleeves for small installation or repair jobs on TV, satellite and antenna cabling that use standard F-connectors.

Advantages

The rubber sleeves are made to fit common F-connectors, providing a tight, flexible cover that reduces strain on the connector and cable. They help to limit the entry of dust and damp at the mating point and improve the mechanical stability of the connection without changing the electrical characteristics of the coaxial link. Packaged as a set, the product offers convenient replacement parts for on-site repairs and routine maintenance.

Suitable for

• Installation and repair of TV coaxial cable connections with F-connectors
• Satellite dish cable terminations using F-type fittings
• RF antenna cabling where mechanical protection of the F-connector is required
• Field service kits and small maintenance projects

Key specifications

• Material: flexible rubber designed for outdoor and indoor use
• Compatibility: sized for standard F-type coaxial connectors
• Function: mechanical protection, dust and moisture reduction at connector interface
• Packaging: multi-piece set intended for several terminations or repairs

How to use

Slip a rubber sleeve over the coaxial cable before attaching the F-connector or slide it over the connector after assembly if the design permits. Ensure the sleeve covers the connector junction and part of the cable jacket to achieve a secure fit. For a watertight effect, position the sleeve so it seals the area where the connector meets the cable and press gently to seat the sleeve. Inspect the fit after assembly and trim excess material only if necessary to avoid compromising the protective coverage.

Recommendations

For best results, select sleeves that match the connector size and check compatibility with any existing weatherproofing or sealing compounds. Avoid stretching the sleeve excessively during installation to prevent loss of elastic sealing properties; replace sleeves showing cracks, hardening or persistent deformation.
