Afbreekmesje Stanley 1992

The Stanley 1992 Trimming Knife Blade is a pack of 100 precision blades engineered for clean, controlled cutting in a variety of trimming tasks. Each blade measures 80 mm in cutting width, with a thickness of 0.65 mm, a depth of 25 mm and a height of 71 mm. The blades are designed to provide consistent sharpness and stable performance while minimizing flex during use. The pack weight is 390 g, making it convenient to store and transport.

Advantages

These trimming knife blades combine a precise geometry and a relatively thin profile to deliver accurate cuts and reduce material waste. The 0.65 mm thickness offers a balance between rigidity and edge sharpness, while the 80 mm cutting width accommodates larger trimming passes compared with narrower utility blades. Packaged in a set of 100, the blades reduce the need for frequent reordering and are suitable for repetitive or large-volume jobs.

How to use

Install the trimming knife blade into a compatible utility knife or trimming tool following the tool manufacturer's instructions, ensuring the blade is securely seated before use. Use steady, controlled strokes and allow the blade to do the cutting to avoid applying excessive force. Replace the blade when cuts become ragged or require more passes to achieve the desired result. Store unused blades in their original packaging or a secure container to protect the edge and prevent accidental injury.

Recommendations

For best results, use a straightedge or guide when performing long trimming cuts and ensure the cutting surface is supported to prevent tearing. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as cut-resistant gloves and eye protection when changing blades or performing heavy trimming work.
