Aixcase AIX-BSUB3A1-S - opslagbehuizing met OneTouchEasy-knop (OTB)

The Aixcase AIX-BSUB3A1-S Silver 3.5" storage drive enclosure is a compact aluminium housing designed to accept a single 3.5-inch Serial ATA II hard drive with up to 1 TB capacity. The enclosure converts an internal 3.5" SATA-II drive into an external, portable storage device while retaining a low-profile silver finish and a durable metal body for heat dissipation and physical protection. It is intended for users who need simple, tool-free expansion of storage or a way to reuse a spare 3.5" SATA drive.

Advantages

The aluminium construction provides improved thermal performance compared with plastic enclosures and offers a lightweight but sturdy shell that protects the drive. Compatibility with Serial ATA II drives and support for a single 3.5" form factor make installation straightforward. The silver finish delivers a neutral aesthetic suitable for home or office setups. The enclosure enables portable external access to data without modifying the host drive.

Suitable for

• Expanding desktop storage by reusing an existing 3.5" SATA-II hard drive
• Creating an external backup or archive solution for documents, media, and project files
• Data transfer between computers when a removable 3.5" drive is needed
• Temporary or long-term external storage for systems with limited internal drive bays

Key specifications

• Drive bay: single 3.5"
• Supported interface: Serial ATA II (SATA-II)
• Maximum supported capacity: 1 TB (per product data)
• Material: aluminium housing
• Colour: silver

How to use

Open the enclosure according to the included instructions, insert a compatible 3.5" Serial ATA II hard drive into the internal connector, and secure the drive within the aluminium housing. Close the enclosure and connect it to a host system using the provided cable or interface; the host should detect the drive as an external storage device. If necessary, initialise or format the drive in the host operating system before first use. Always follow electrostatic discharge precautions when handling the drive.

Recommendations

Place the enclosure on a stable, well-ventilated surface during operation to allow heat to dissipate through the aluminium body. Avoid exposing the enclosure to strong impacts or liquids. For backup use, confirm regular file verification and keep critical data copies in more than one location.
