All-in-one vloeistofkoeler NZXT Kraken Plus 280 14 cm zwart

The NZXT Kraken Plus 280 is an all-in-one liquid cooler that combines a 280 mm radiator with two 140 mm high-static-pressure fans and an advanced Turbine pump to provide efficient CPU cooling. The unit features a 1.54-inch square LCD on the pump cap for real-time temperature readouts, custom images, GIFs and integrations controlled via NZXT CAM. Pre-applied thermal paste and tool-free mounting brackets simplify installation, and the black finish suits a wide range of PC builds.

Advantages

The Turbine pump is designed for high flow and head pressure while maintaining low noise, enabling effective cooling under load. Static-pressure 140 mm fans push air through the radiator for reliable heat dissipation, and Zero RPM Mode reduces noise during light workloads. Integrated fan control and a single breakout cable streamline cabling. The 1.54-inch LCD offers personalization and live system data through NZXT CAM. Wide socket compatibility covers modern Intel and AMD processors.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Cooling high-performance desktop CPUs in gaming and content-creation rigs
• Silent or low-noise PC builds requiring efficient heat dissipation
• Systems where visual customization of the pump head (images, GIFs, telemetry) is desired
• Builders seeking straightforward installation with pre-applied thermal paste and tool-free brackets

How to use

Mount the radiator and fans in your case using the appropriate fan/radiator positions. Secure the pump head to the CPU socket with the included tool-free mounting brackets compatible with supported Intel and AMD sockets. Connect the single breakout cable to the motherboard and route cables as needed; the pump integrates fan control to reduce cable clutter. Install NZXT CAM on your system to configure the 1.54-inch LCD, monitor temperatures and adjust performance profiles. The cooler ships with pre-applied thermal paste, so direct contact between the cold plate and CPU is ready during installation.

Recommendations

Ensure adequate case airflow and verify radiator clearance in your chassis before installation. Use NZXT CAM to set fan curves and display preferences; enable Zero RPM Mode for quieter operation under light loads. Periodically check mounting torque and coolant connections during routine maintenance.
