ALLNET Yagi-antenne ANT-868-12.5dbi 868 MHz N-bus, 12,5 dBi winst

ALLNET Yagi antenna ANT-868-12.5dbi is a directional outdoor antenna designed for the 868 MHz band. With an N-Female connector and 12.5 dBi gain, this Yagi antenna focuses radio energy into a narrow beam to extend range and improve link stability. It is intended for point-to-point links, LPWAN deployments, IoT gateways and telemetry installations where improved reception and reduced packet loss are required.

Advantages

The antenna’s 12.5 dBi gain and directional pattern increase effective radiated power toward a chosen azimuth, which results in improved signal-to-noise ratio and longer reliable communication distances. The N-Female connector provides a secure mechanical and electrical connection to standard coaxial cables and adapters. Constructed for outdoor mounting, the antenna offers stable performance in fixed installations and helps reduce interference from unwanted directions by concentrating transmission and reception into a focused beam.

Suitable for

• Point-to-point links between buildings or towers in the 868 MHz band
• LPWAN and LoRa gateway range extension
• IoT and telemetry communication in rural or weak-signal areas
• Applications requiring directional coverage and reduced multipath interference

Key specifications

• Operating frequency: 868 MHz band
• Gain: 12.5 dBi
• Connector type: N-Female
• Polarization: linear (horizontal or vertical depending on mounting)
• Radiation pattern: directional Yagi beam
• Mounting: outdoor mast or pole mounting compatible

How to use

Install the antenna on a mast or pole with a clear line of sight toward the target receiver or transmitter. Ensure the connector is oriented and tightened to mate with the coaxial cable or adapter using compatible N-type components. Aim the antenna by adjusting azimuth and elevation to maximize received signal strength and minimize interference from other directions. Use proper weatherproofing on the connector and cable joints to protect against moisture and corrosion.

Recommendations

For best results, mount the antenna at a height that clears nearby obstacles, maintain correct polarization alignment with the remote antenna, and perform a site survey or signal sweep to verify optimal pointing. Use low-loss coaxial cable and quality N-type connectors to minimize feedline losses, and secure all outdoor connections with appropriate sealing tape or booting to ensure long-term reliability.
