Alphacool Apex Grip 90° draaiadapter AG/IG G1/4 chroom (14888)

Water cooling enthusiasts often face tight spaces where a straight fitting simply cannot route tubing cleanly. The Alphacool Apex Grip 90° Rotary Adapter solves this by providing a right-angle connection with full 360° rotation, allowing you to position tubing exactly where you need it without kinks or stress on the loop. Machined from brass and finished in brilliant chrome, this adapter brings both durability and a premium look to any custom PC build.

Key specifications

• Thread standard: G1/4" (both male external and female internal)
• Rotary function: 360° rotatable for flexible tube routing
• Material: Brass with chrome plated finish
• Seal material: NBR O-ring for reliable leak-free operation
• Overall length: 31.5 mm, maximum diameter: 23 mm
• Flow optimized design to minimize restriction

Why choose it

The Apex Grip 90° Adapter is engineered for high-performance water cooling loops. Its rotary joint allows the female port to spin independently, so you can tighten the male thread securely and then orient the tubing connection at any angle. The chrome plating not only resists corrosion but also matches other polished fittings for a cohesive aesthetic. The flow-optimized internal geometry ensures minimal pressure drop, keeping your pump efficient.

Ideal use cases

• Routing tubing around graphics cards, RAM modules, or case corners
• Creating clean parallel tube runs in compact or mid-tower cases
• Connecting components with awkward port orientations, such as pump tops or radiators
• Upgrading an existing loop with a space-saving rotary solution

Good to know

This adapter is compatible with all standard G1/4" water cooling components, including blocks, pumps, reservoirs, and radiators. Installation is straightforward: screw the male end into a G1/4" port, then attach any G1/4" female fitting or component to the female end. The included NBR O-ring ensures a tight seal, but always inspect for damage before installation. For best results, hand-tighten and avoid over-torquing to prevent thread damage.
