Antennecontactdoos ShiverPeaks 83900-8L — wandgemonteerde HF-coaxaansluiting voor radio- en tv-systemen

Antenna Socket ShiverPeaks 83900-8L is a wall-mounted RF coaxial connector designed to receive and distribute broadcast and terrestrial television signals. The outlet provides a standard coax interface for connecting televisions, set-top boxes and radio receivers. It is intended for in-home or small commercial installations where a fixed wall outlet for antenna or cable signal access is required, offering a compact form factor that fits standard wall boxes and a through-connection design for simple signal routing.

Advantages

This wall-mounted RF coax connector offers a reliable through-connection for analogue and digital broadcast signals with controlled attenuation characteristics to maintain signal quality. The socket is built for fixed installation, providing a secure mechanical connection and stable electrical contact suitable for continuous use. Its design supports common coaxial cables and standard equipment, enabling straightforward integration into existing TV and radio systems.

Suitable for

• Home living rooms, bedrooms and media cabinets for TV and radio reception
• Small commercial spaces such as waiting rooms, offices and hospitality areas
• Connecting set-top boxes, digital receivers and analogue tuners to a wall-mounted antenna point
• Through-connection of coaxial runs where a wall outlet is required for signal distribution

Key specifications

• Cable interface: RF coaxial socket compatible with standard coax plugs
• Installation type: wall-mounted outlet suitable for standard flush wall boxes
• Signal type: terrestrial broadcast and cable TV signals including digital and analogue
• Connection topology: through/continuity connection allowing signal pass-through
• Attenuation/return characteristics: designed with controlled attenuation level to preserve signal integrity
• Mechanical: fixed mounting with threaded/coaxial mating for secure retention

How to use

Install the antenna socket into a standard flush wall box following local electrical and building regulations. Connect the incoming coaxial feed to the rear input and secure the outlet mechanically to the wall box. Attach the coaxial plug from the television, set-top box or radio receiver to the front socket. Verify signal reception and adjust upstream amplifiers or splitters if necessary to achieve optimal picture and sound quality. If used as a through connection, ensure all downstream connections are properly tightened to prevent signal loss.

Recommendations

Use high-quality coaxial cable with appropriate shielding and correct impedance to minimize signal loss. Avoid sharp bends near the connector and keep coax connections clean and dry. When installing multiple outlets, plan signal distribution and amplification to avoid excessive attenuation; consult a technician for complex or long cable runs.
