Aqara Dimmer Switch H2 EU wit lichtschakelaar Aqara KD-R01D

Aqara Dimmer Switch H2 is a Zigbee smart light dimmer with a multifunctional knob that provides precise brightness control and supports Matter over Thread. The device allows smooth lighting adjustment via the rotary knob, mobile app, or voice assistants and is compatible with a wide range of smart home ecosystems. Installation is possible with or without a neutral wire, and the dimmer follows the System 55 modular standard for easy integration into common European switch frames.

Advantages

The dimmer supports both Zigbee and Thread protocols, enabling flexible pairing with legacy Aqara Zigbee hubs and Matter-based platforms without a hub when using Thread. The rotary knob offers seamless dimming from 1% to 100% and functions as a switch with a configurable 1.5 s response. It works with incandescent, halogen, and dimmable LED/CFL lamps using Leading Edge or Trailing Edge dimming, and it monitors energy consumption through the Aqara Home app. System 55 compatibility simplifies installation into popular multi-frame systems.

Adjust brightness by turning the knob, press the knob to toggle the light, and customize response time and dimming limits in the Aqara Home app. Use the app to view energy consumption reports and to create automations and voice assistant integrations.

Recommendations

Before installation, verify lamp compatibility and choose Trailing Edge or Leading Edge dimming as required by your lamps. If unsure about wiring, consult a qualified electrician. Configure minimum and maximum brightness limits in the Aqara Home app to avoid flicker and ensure stable operation.
