Aquarelpotlood Faber-Castell Colour Grip 112412

Faber-Castell Colour Grip watercolour pencils, pack of 12, combine a triangular ergonomic barrel with a patented Soft-Grip zone to provide comfortable, fatigue-reducing handling. Highly pigmented leads deliver vivid colours that can be used dry for layering and blending or activated with water to create watercolor effects.

Advantages

The triangular shape and Soft-Grip zone improve control and reduce hand strain during prolonged use. High-pigment cores produce bright, consistent colour laydown, while water-soluble pigments allow smooth transition from coloured pencil to transparent watercolor washes. Supplied in a compact cardboard wallet for convenient storage and transport.

Suitable for

• Sketching and colouring for older children and students
• Layering, blending and detailed coloured-pencil work
• Creating watercolor effects by brushing with water

How to use

Use the pencils dry for precise drawing, layering and blending. To produce watercolor effects, apply colour on paper and then gently brush over the drawing with a wet paintbrush to dissolve the pigments. Allow layers to dry before applying additional washes to avoid overworking the paper.

Recommendations

For best results use on heavier drawing or watercolor paper to prevent buckling. Store pencils in the supplied wallet and keep tips sharp for detailed work; moderate water application preserves colour intensity.
