ASRock Industrial 4X4 BOX-4500U barebone embedded box-pc

Compact fanless computing reaches a new level of flexibility with the ASRock Industrial 4X4 BOX-4500U. While many mini PCs lock you into fixed configurations or throttle under sustained workloads, this barebone system puts you in full control—choose your own DDR4 memory, M.2 or 2.5" storage, and Wi-Fi module to tailor performance and budget precisely. Its aluminum chassis dissipates heat silently, making it ideal for digital signage, edge analytics, and always-on kiosks where reliability is non-negotiable.

Highlights

• AMD Ryzen 5 4500U with 6 cores and Radeon Vega 6 graphics
• Dual Gigabit LAN for failover or segmented networks
• Triple 4K display support via HDMI 2.0a and DisplayPort 1.2a
• Tool-free 2.5" SATA bay plus M.2 NVMe/SATA slot

In daily use

Mount it behind a monitor, under a counter, or on a VESA arm—the 4X4 BOX-4500U stays silent and cool even in dusty environments thanks to passive cooling. Front USB-C and USB-A ports handle fast peripherals, while the rear USB-C supports DisplayPort alt mode for single-cable docking. Two Realtek Gigabit LAN ports let you isolate camera traffic from management traffic or run a software router without extra hardware. With two DDR4 SO-DIMM slots supporting up to 64GB, an M.2 Key M slot for NVMe or SATA SSDs, and a 2.5" SATA bay, expansion is straightforward and tool-free.
