ASUS ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDG computermonitor 86,4 cm (34 inch) 3440 x 1440 pixel UltraWide Quad HD QD-OLED zwart

The ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDG is a 34-inch ultra-wide QD-OLED gaming monitor with a 3440 × 1440 (UltraWide QHD) resolution, 175 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms response time. It includes the ASUS OLED Care Pro suite with the new Neo Proximity Sensor that detects user absence and switches the display to a black screen to reduce the risk of burn-in. The monitor supports VESA DisplayHDR™ 400 True Black, 99.3% DCI‑P3 coverage and true 10-bit color for accurate HDR performance.

Advantages

The monitor delivers high refresh rates and extremely low response time suitable for fast-paced gaming while the QD‑OLED panel provides deep blacks and wide color gamut for accurate image reproduction. OLED Care Pro with Neo Proximity Sensor helps protect the screen from static-image retention by turning the display black when no user is detected. Built‑in support for NVIDIA G‑SYNC and AMD FreeSync reduces tearing and stutter, and the DisplayWidget Center application enables easy configuration of OLED Care Pro functions and other monitor settings from a mouse.

How to use

Connect the monitor to your PC or console using the appropriate video cable and configure the display settings to 3440 × 1440 at 175 Hz in your graphics driver. Use the ASUS DisplayWidget Center application to enable and configure OLED Care Pro functions, including the Neo Proximity Sensor. For best HDR results, enable DisplayHDR and select an appropriate color profile; adjust brightness and contrast as needed. Use the monitor's adaptive sync features (NVIDIA G‑SYNC or AMD FreeSync) to reduce screen tearing.

Recommendations

To minimise the risk of OLED burn-in, enable Neo Proximity Sensor and other OLED Care Pro options, avoid long static high-contrast images, and use varied content or a screen saver when the monitor is idle. For colour‑critical work, calibrate the monitor with a hardware colorimeter and allow a warm‑up period for stable HDR performance.
