ASUS VA249QGSE computermonitor 60,5 cm (23,8 inch) 1920 x 1080 pixels Full HD LCD zwart

The Asus VA249QGSE is a 60.5 cm (23.8") Full HD business monitor with an IPS LCD panel and 1920×1080 resolution. Designed for office and professional environments, the screen delivers wide 178° viewing angles and consistent color reproduction. The monitor has a flat, frameless design in black, built-in speakers, VESA mounting capability and multiple input options suitable for typical workstation setups.

Advantages

The IPS panel provides stable colors and wide viewing angles, making the display suitable for collaborative work and multi-monitor configurations. A 120 Hz maximum refresh rate combined with adaptive sync support reduces visible tearing and motion artefacts during fast on-screen movement. Ergonomic adjustments including tilt, swivel, pivot and height change allow users to set a comfortable viewing position. TÜV Rheinland-certified flicker-free and low blue light features help to reduce eye strain during prolonged use. Energy characteristics align with the stated efficiency class.

Suitable for

• Office productivity: spreadsheets, documents, email and web browsing
• Multi-monitor workstations and collaborative desk setups
• Video playback and multimedia where Full HD and smooth motion are required
• Environments requiring VESA wall mounting or flexible placement

When it may not be suitable

This monitor is Full HD (1920×1080) on a 23.8" diagonal; it is not a 4K display, so users who require very high pixel density for detailed image editing or CAD may find it insufficient. While the panel offers good color stability, professional color-critical workflows that demand factory-calibrated wide color gamut panels are outside the intended use.

How to use

Place the monitor on a stable desk surface or attach it to a compatible VESA mount. Connect your source device using HDMI, DisplayPort or VGA depending on available ports; use the on-screen display to select the correct input. Adjust tilt, swivel, pivot and height to align the top of the screen near eye level and maintain an ergonomic viewing distance of about an arm’s length. Enable flicker-free and low blue light modes through the monitor menu when working for long periods to reduce eye fatigue. If using multiple screens, match resolution and refresh rate settings across displays for consistent behaviour.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm required resolution and pixel density for your tasks (Full HD on 23.8").
• Check that your computer’s graphics outputs support the desired refresh rate and adaptive sync features.
• Ensure you have the necessary desk space or a compatible VESA arm/wall mount for installation.
• Consider whether integrated speakers meet your audio needs or if external speakers/headphones are required.
• Review energy class and power consumption relative to your office sustainability goals.

Recommendations

For general office productivity, set the monitor to its native 1920×1080 resolution and use 60–100% brightness depending on ambient light. Enable Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free modes for extended work sessions. Use DisplayPort or HDMI connections when aiming for higher refresh rates and adaptive sync support.
