ATEN VS138A-AT-E videosplitter VGA 8x VGA

The ATEN VS138A-AT-E Video Splitter duplicates a single VGA video source to eight VGA displays. Housed in a durable metal enclosure, it supports resolutions up to 2048 x 1536 and extends transmission distance up to 98.5 feet (30 m). The unit is cascadable to three levels to provide up to 512 outputs and is designed for reliable distribution of multisync signals including VGA, XGA, SVGA, UXGA, QXGA and WUXGA.

Advantages

The VS138A offers eight simultaneous VGA outputs from one input with support for high resolutions and multisync compatibility. Its metal housing ensures durability while the compact 0.69 kg design makes installation straightforward. Cascadable expansion and extended transmission distance simplify large-scale display deployments without requiring complex configuration.

Suitable for

• Financial environments — remote display of stock market information
• Education — distributing lectures and lesson content to halls and classrooms
• Business — presenting content to overflow rooms, video conferencing and demos

How to use

Connect the VGA source to the input port of the VS138A, then connect up to eight VGA displays to the output ports. Plug the supplied 5 V power adapter into the unit and a power outlet. For larger setups, cascade additional VS138A units (up to three levels) to increase the number of outputs. Verify monitor resolutions and cable quality to maintain optimal image performance.

Recommendations

Use good-quality VGA cables and verify that each display supports the desired resolution. Keep the total cable length within the 30 m limit for best signal quality, and avoid routing cables near strong electromagnetic interference sources. When cascading, ensure each unit is powered and connected securely to prevent signal degradation.
