Aurora Black Fire-Maple gaslantaarn met piëzo-elektrische ontsteking

The Aurora Black Fire-Maple lamp brings dependable gas-powered illumination to camp kitchens, trail shelters, and backcountry basecamps. Unlike battery lanterns that fade without warning or liquid-fuel stoves that demand priming, this lantern runs on standard EN417 screw-on butane/propane canisters and lights instantly with a built-in piezoelectric igniter. A stepless brightness dial lets you tune output from a soft glow for reading to a 600-watt thermal equivalent for cooking or map work, while the frosted glass shade spreads light evenly without harsh glare.

Highlights

• Piezoelectric ignition — no matches or lighters needed
• Stepless brightness control for precise light levels
• Runs on widely available EN417 butane/propane gas canisters
• 80 lux at 1 metre — equivalent to a 60W incandescent bulb
• Durable aluminium alloy, stainless steel and copper construction
• Includes one gas mantle and a hard plastic storage case

In daily use

Screw on a gas canister, open the valve, and press the piezo button — the mantle glows to life in seconds. The frosted glass shade softens the light, making it comfortable for close tasks like cooking or reading, while the stepless dial lets you stretch fuel consumption from a gentle 48 g/h at maximum output down to a frugal simmer. The metal body shrugs off knocks in a pack, and the included hard case keeps the glass and mantle protected during transport. At 600W thermal output, it also throws enough warmth to take the chill off a small tent vestibule on cold mornings.
